Before launching my business, I spent 13 years in the public sector in various leadership positions. My passion for all things “people” led me to a career in HR. Where I became qualified as an HR professional and Executive Coach and Mentor. I coached high potential leaders on one of the UK’s leading leadership development programmes, helping them overcome their limiting beliefs and take ownership of all aspects of their lives to support them in their leadership journey.

As an experienced manager and coach, I learned what truly makes people tick. I came to recognise the similar problems we all tend to battle. I developed compassionate & empathetic leadership skills that nurtured the best out of individuals and teams.

I am a strategic thinker and ideas person - where others see problems I am able to spot possibilities. I am great at pulling together my clients thoughts and ideas and creating a strategy to move them forwards. I am very intuitive and empathic - so much so that my clients have joked that I’m psychic.

My own personal journey has massively strengthened how I coach.

I loved coaching in the public sector, but it was always an add-on to an already busy job. Before creating my business I kept getting niggles that I wasn’t in the right place, I wasn’t doing what I was destined to do… but I appeased it with a promotion, a move, a new mentor, a new project; and I always had such a busy social life it was easy to drown out that feeling. I always had a bazillion business ideas even when I was a teenager but I never knew how to act upon them. 

I felt the pull to set up my own business, coach full-time and work flexibly on what I was passionate about; but I couldn’t see how I could feasibly leave my career and the security of a steady income. I told myself the same excuses that this was just how life was, that I had to be sensible, have a steady job and park my dreams. That niggle though, became stress and anxiety, something I had never experienced before, and after a period of complete burnout I had to look within and question what was going on. That was my wake up call and my catalyst for change.

I went on my own journey of self discovery, I set up a passive income stream, I quit my job, I started my business, I paid off all debt and I moved abroad. Things changed when I took radical responsibility for my life.
